It is an antique fabric.

Turkish oriental linge, embroidered cross on linen.

Depending on the size, it may be used as a hand towel used in a hammam or wrapped like a belt, and its uses are wide-ranging and mysterious, but I think this one was an interior cloth due to its size.

All embroidery is hand embroidered, no two embroideries are the same.

There is some dirt on the edges.
