This is a black silk fabric with a glossy finish and small petit pliss.
It's a rare item with a good size. The inside of the body is lined, and the front opening is doubled, as it was made at the time. There is a tear on the inside, but since it is rarely cut and doubled these days, the damage is not likely to interfere with its use.
